The shadows were lengthening now. I could see the lie slowly creep down behind a mountain. In a fewer minutes the whole valley would be in shade. I shivered and looked round nervously, trying not to think of the prospect of using up a night on this desolate mountain. As I turned to look behind me a sharp pang shot up through my leg equivalent an electrical automobile shock. I winced. I knew t here(predicate) was no office I could go anywhere.
